How to Buy
Prepare your song for mixing:
1) Remove any plugins from your tracks (EQ’s, compressors, reverb, etc.), unless necessary for creative effect.
2) Don’t worry about setting the volume faders at 0. Leave them where you have them in the rough mix, as this will provide us with a good starting point, but MAKE SURE none of the audio is clipping.
3) Export separate .wav files for each audio channel (stem). Please name each stem appropriately (kick, snare, piano, lead vocal, vocal dub, ad libs, etc..).
4) All exported audio files must start at the same time. Even if you have a track with a sound only at the end of the song, bounce the whole file from the beginning of the song. This is essential for us to line up audio correctly.
5) Put all files in a new single folder, and label this folder “Artist Name, Song Name”. Compress this folder into a .zip file.
6) Including a reference song is not necessary, but it’s recommended. It helps us understand the sound and style you desire. This would be a song you envision your song sounding like. Just place your reference song in a separate folder, and include it in your .zip file.
